Who is the
Regent of the United States of America?

The Regent of the United States, H.R.H., Marc Eric Ely-Chaitlin, is the paternal grandson of St. Henry the Lion, a descendant of King David. The Regent's maternal grandfather, Prince Donovan Stedman Ely, built 52 churches in southern California, and was widely loved as a benefactor to those who experienced personal tragedies. Descending from a sister of a soldier who fought under General Stonewall Jackson, Prince Donovan is best known as the builder of the Wayfarer's Chapel at Portuguese Bend, a fabulous glass cathedral that today is a historic landmark.

The Regent personally set up four homeless shelters at his own private expense, exceeding $100,000.00, which local Orange County officials opposed, and eventually succeeded in closing.

The Regent's current housing program has been designed to circumvent the opposition of local bureaucrats, to expose the duplicity of the media, and to provide adequite and decent housing for Americans.

Born in Santa Monica at St. John's Hospital in 1959, the Regent is world travelled, and has lived in southern California at Dana Point since 1972.
