Contrary to the censored version of history school-children are indoctrinated with, the Office of President of the United States is without real prestige, and it is embarrassingly lacking in true authority. This is covered up by the media, who are skilled at making utter defeats appear as brilliant victories. Of course, the people in the media are also divided along partisan lines, so a certain amount of any president's mistakes are given some coverage; although none concede that the nature of the office, as a source of deceit and coercion, is the main defect in its constitution.

Aside from being chartered without the benefit of legal process, as recognized universally for millenia, the U.S. pseudo-government claims to be the most powerful institution in North America (if not the Earth), with its regional, state, county and city administrative jurisdictions; and these pile up hierarchically, until they all answer to one man: The President. Yet with all their stolen (taxed) money, and for all their state-of-the-art technology, the members of the "government" are fully incapable of handling the problems of society, and in fact they cause many of them. They intrigue for status and higher salaries and more benefits, and in the meantime the functions they are supposed to fulfill go wanting. The "public schools" are churning out potential suicidals and walking time-bombs, and those who do survive "school" lose the inspiration of youth by learning how to be "free" by obeying without question arbitrary authority. The very things the kids resist, the "authorities" impose: Neither recognizes the other's real nature.

Prostitution thrives even as legions of "vice" officers stash away comfortable incomes "defending the morals of the community." "Vice" officers constitute a massive secret police force at a cost of billions. Of course, even if there were a DEATH penalty for coitus-for-pay, prostitution would go on and possibly even flourish. The police wind up helping organized crime stamp out its competition, at enormous expense to the helpless taxpayers.

Drugs reveal even better the total lack of actual power the so-called "government" suffers from. Prohibition was an absolute failure, and even as people distilled "illegal" liquor at the height of Prohibition, in massive quantities, so too today pot and narcotics smugglers have carved out a subterranean realm, of which U.S. "authorities" can only locate 1/10th. 90% of the underground economy is invisible to the tax-hungry politicians (and they hate it), and drugs are a big part of that underground. However, drugs are so "immoral" that the DEA feels free to act without license, immune from the moral dictates it claims to enforce.

The FBI is worse yet. The biggest of the FBI's guns seem to be pointed at, of all people, politicians! Yet the agency that supposedly "always gets its man" cannot even guard the "government's" top secrets, which are bought and sold for a pittance by disgruntled public employees. Even more telling is the FBI's practice of framing citizens as having committed crimes, some of whom have been prominent public figures. The FBI keeps lists of enemies, even though most of the people it puts "contracts" out on get away.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has got to be the most hated agency of the psuedo- government-on-the-Potomac (a former swamp). Interestingly enough, this "Service" is the one most often compared to actual German Nazi fascism. This is the nasty group who actually steal the money the rest of the "government" must rely on to finance its plans to disrupt the lives of individuals (who obviously would never pay for this voluntarily). Even as old folks and families are put out on the street to keep politicians in caviar, the IRS demands that all people pay their "fair" share (which the IRS will determine, if you please). Never mind that the procedures used resemble the collection of Roman tribute, and penalties for failing to pay taxes resemble the scorched-earth tactics of Genghis Khan. But even with its enormous arsenal of weapons and computers, the IRS is still faced with an annual untaxable underground economy as big as $500 billion.

The barbarian Germans did not invade ancient Rome in the numbers that modern-day Latin Americans are crossing the Rio Grande. The most sophisticated, technologically advanced, self- styled "superpower" on Earth cannot stop a bunch of campesinos, Third World peasants with the dream of freedom. The same people who spend billions of dollars annually to FAIL to stop the flow of illegal drugs, also spend billions more FAILING to stop the flow of "illegal" immigrants (as if people have the "right" to move to a continent, and then keep others from doing the same). So what do our illustrious leaders propose? A domestic passport, just as in the (now-defunct) U.S.S.R.

Without acknowledging their utter defeat, the legislators in Congress propose a measure that implies utter failure to control. However, where the agencies of the "government" have their ups and downs, (to serve as scapegoats, or to take credit for successes they had little to do with), the Defense Department never waivers. It is the main backbone of the "government's" alleged authority. Along with the semi-invisible Fifth Column of partisans (Democrats and Republicans) planted inside the population, no one would DARE voice that the "government" of Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, Coolidge, Hoover, the Roosevelts, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush and Clinton is anything BUT powerful, even if its failures are too obvious to ignore.

For one thing it is dangerous to imply that the President of the United States can ONLY get "popular consent" by threatening people. Partisans will pelt your car, slash your tires, torment your family, burn your house down, dishonor their contracts with you, slander you, and ultimately identify you to the "government" for harrassment (called an "investigation"). The best of these partisans, of course, ARE the "government."

The total lack of power of the United States Constitution is completely borne out by the assassination of its chief executive, the "most powerful man on Earth"! How well can such a man protect us when he cannot keep himself from being murdered?

Life is REAL government, and nature gives us the rules for living. Men and women commit themselves to "play the game," and then the game gains priority over human life. We spend our lifetimes accumulating things, as we indulge ourselves in our "Warehouse Mentality," and we learn to shut down responses which threaten to alter or modify our adoptive identities. We may hate the President, but we still BELIEVE in the magic of his office; we accept the excuses handed out every time a new President fails to effect any change, because we all know that the President can't change the "government." We lament over this in despair and powerlessness, for we have given our power over ourselves to the President, and he has no idea that his mock- leadership is an exercise in structured disorder.
