AMERICAN
CRIME WAVE

America today is captivated by a wave of violent crime that has Americans both enraged and terrified, but the media's coverage of it is couched in so many euphemisms that the causes are generally obscured to the majority of American citizens. Television and radio are ideal for time- sensitive blurbs -- slogans -- that invoke the widely known plans of the Federal Government, or state or local governments; but sound-bites are not an ideal way to convey sophisticated dissent, that is founded on events and conditions average people are not acquainted with.

Anyone who listens in to a call-in radio or television show will notice immediately that the people who call in are feeding back ideas that were pounded into them during their school years. The callers, in fact, show fear of new ideas, especially if they threaten the reality they have become comfortable with. Closed-mindedness is a traditional characteristic of the American Revolution, which effectively closed out the entire population of the colonies that supported the legal government in London. To this day the genuine hallmark of American politics under the republic is not any appreciation for free thought, but a strict and dogmatic adherence to the Constitution of 1787, which rivals the creedal intolerance of 12th century Christians.

The so-called Crime Wave is symptomatic of a cultural breakdown which is derivative of the fundamental corruption caused by the republic, which is nothing other than a mechanism to shortcircuit the ancient constitution. The ancient UNWRITTEN constitution is an accumulation of legal principles, customs and statutes that are the actual womb that gives life to the written Constitution of 1787; if the ancient constitution did not exist, with its terminology of law and precedents, the Constitution of 1787 would make no sense. The Constitution of 1787, however, has no other purpose than to erect a system of social control that is republican in nature instead of monarchical. It is WHY this was done that most Americans really don't understand.

Was King George III a tyrant? Were the colonists taxed without representation? Or were these really only slogans designed to inflame a public that was hotly divided? Revolutions are by nature messy business, and it is no coincidence that all evidence of the losing side is demolished so completely that the victors feel free to re-caste the entire conflict in a light that favors them. The genuine grievances of the colonists were dry, legalistic grievances that reflected the needs of colonial planters and merchants, not average colonists. The Declaration of Independence carries a supposed list of the injuries suffered at the hands of the King, but it remained mysteriously silent about the human rights of slaves, who remained without basic human rights under the republican government. It also accused the King in person of crimes that everyone knew a constitutional king could not commit. This is the most significant point to be made, because the law as it had existed for ten thousand years was about to be set aside with no more than a few secret meetings of the richest, most powerful men in the colonies.

As a result of the Revolutionary Era a new kind of culture emerged that was completely divorced from the traditional cultures that have existed since the beginning of time, and which share common values universally. This could be defined as the Revolutionary Culture, which is a culture of defiance to tradition, but which is also a culture of profit. The Revolutionary Culture is an ethic that promotes commerce as the ultimate purpose for a society; therefore in a society governed by this Culture, it has the effect of suppressing any institutions that do not serve commerce. This is often fueled by a hatred of tradition, which is done through distorting the historic record, and taking historical events out of the context in which they took place.

"Religious" groups are fond of assuming the mantel of tradition without understanding that traditional society means so much more than just turning the clock back. Forcing women out of the workplace, and homosexuals back into the closet, are not progressive actions that will cause any kind of diminution of the crime wave; in fact, every mass campaign to effect such end results has actually inspired increases in violent crimes. The Revolutionary Society is basically powered by hate, which is why it is defenseless in the face of hate movements that are not officially sanctioned, like the so-called militia movement.

The biggest source of crime today is an "US" versus "THEM" mentality that is nurtured by mass society institutions. Other than crimes of passion -- the kind of crimes that take place that underscore the basic flaws in human life that will never be fully eradicated -- people don't commit crimes against their FRIENDS or allies. Especially crimes involving property. It was during the colonial period that the system for allocating and owning property came into being, and of course it was during that same period that America's so-called "old money" families acquired the property that justified the title of "old money." So it should come as no surprise that so much effort has been expended confusing average Americans about the entire Colonial and Early Republican era.

First and foremost, the items of property these good old patriotic families counted among their possessions included human beings. This is dismissed as ancient history only because the enslavement of an entire caste of Americans had the effect of causing deep social divisions that still exist in the 20th century. The very notion that America is a "classless society" has all the substance of a Madison Avenue advertising campaign; even the people who use the phrase don't really believe that it is true. It is important, however, that the masses BELIEVE that it is true...

What is not perceived in the halls of power is how such falsity backfires in the face of the authorities. The difference between what kids are told and the reality only adds fuel to the fire. There is the tale of the emperor who wore no clothes, thinking all the while that he owned the best suit in the empire. All the adults complemented the emperor for his suit; it was a small child who was not old enough to enter the world of the deceitful adults -- full of their pretensions of adulthood -- who caused a scandal by openly remarking that the emperor had no clothes on. This is vital because it is the angst of the youth that is causing the current violent crime wave, and it is this angst that looms off the horizon as 40 million kids enter their prime crime years over the course of the next decade.

The youth understand the menace of the Federal Government. Being in the formulative period of their lives, the Government deals directly with the kids through the school system, which wastes no time teaching the kids discipline that will benefit the institutional order. This is significant, because it includes such things as spying on their parents to turn them in for any "criminal conduct," family values be damned! It is in school that kids are taught that dissent will not be allowed, and politically incorrect opinions will not be rewarded. Almost every child instinctively knows right from wrong at about 10 years of age, due to environmental influences. This is the child's sensor for justice, but influences are immediately imposed upon the child to disregard the injustices committed against others, and to concentrate on their own career, which is seen as a pathway into joining a society that is basically pre-occupied with possessing property due to the influences of the mass society's institutions. Children barely in puberty are coerced to select a vocational objective that they are expected to carry out over the rest of their lives. GEE, NO PRESSURE THERE!

Additionally, it is in the areas of vocational choices that more social pressures come to bear as a result of race and economic background, because white children with names like Vanderbilt and Mellon are not discouraged to dream big. In Malcolm X's autobiography, he comments on how he told a teacher that he wanted to be a lawyer, and the teacher discouraged him from aspiring in that direction because it was impractical; black people were just not allowed to practice law! The elite of the black community at that time were janitors! And just like any elite, they put on airs and pretensions as being above their fellow blacks of lower job titles. This speaks to the whole Middle Class ethic of work as the way out of poverty and powerlessness. AND IT SPEAKS ABOUT THE PERSONAL EMPTINESS THAT POSSESSIONS BRING.

While Americans are indoctrinated with the creed of the classless society, corporate executives move into walled communities surrounded by armed guards. They go to their clubs built on the best land, overlooking the most scenic beauty, looking down their noses at all those grubby masses, who can barely scrap two dimes together to feed their children. AND THEY BLAME THE MASSES FOR BEING POOR! Poverty in America is seen as a product of laziness, and wealth is seen as a product of industriousness, instead of the ability of the powerful to take what they want and disconnect the fruits of their actions from the consequences THROUGH A CORRUPTION OF THE LAW.

The poor even enter into this mental trap through their desire to be rich. They learn to hate themselves, and they are encouraged to worship the rich as icons of the good life, from television shows that highlight their indulgent lifestyle, to actual awards given to them by the republic. Through scams like urban renewal billions are made, and no attention is ever focused on the political process that favored one individual over another solely on account of their different social statuses. Well-born individuals tend to get financing much easier than low-born people because their ancestors were in the forefront of stealing land from the natives, or because their ancestors invented a new technology that enabled them to essentially hold the human race hostage through the elaborate legal fictions of private property.

This is not a blanket indictment of private property; but it is to suggest that such absolutely essential services as petroleum refinement and distribution, electricity generation and power distribution, and other basic utilities, are inappropriately organized as the private property of families like the Edisons, or the Rockefellers. This is not to infer that the Government should operate such businesses; rather, they should be conducted as non-profit corporations. This is because the infrastructure of these industries was actually paid for with low-interest loans provided by the Government, as well as the cash payments made by millions of Americans for generations; and most of the raw natural resources that went into making many of America's leading families rich, just happened to be public property. The idea that the Rockefeller or the DuPont families worked harder than anyone else, or were smarter, is wholly fallacious.

The youth see the powerful TAKE what they want and USE the law to avoid the consequences, and they follow that example; except they know that they cannot use the law, so they DEFY THE LAW. The minorities, in particular, understand how the law was used to keep them in their "place," and it therefor has no moral content for them. The victims of the republic directly understand how it works, and are not fooled by the rhetoric of freedom that covers its iron fist. The victims work hard and still have their electricity turned off because the bill is more than they can pay; and it doesn't matter if they always paid their bills on time in the past. If they do anything, the "law" protects the utility; the corporation; the faceless interests that profit from the misery of the victims. It is fundamental to market politics to cut off those who cannot pay, because human beings will always try to get around paying for something, because the masses don't come by money easily.

Ah, money. Money has not always been like those greenbacks in your wallet with George Washington's face on it; it once had real value. The American economic system is designed to encourage the masses to work for wages, because the entire social system is designed around the Revolutionary Culture that promotes commerce as the ultimate purpose of human life. The Puritan Work Ethic infers that the insistence that all responsible adults earn a wage is somehow anchored in some religious belief, so that any retribution visited upon those who refuse to be exploited can be justified under some theory of divine authority. There is true negligence, however, in the area of instructing average Americans about the history of the Federal Government with regards to the labor movement, which was the most significant defensive reaction the lower laboring classes have ever been involved in, because the Government attacked it mercilessly, openly siding with the corporate "bosses."

Money is a medium of exchange, but in a wage-based capitalist economy money is the fuel of power. Power is the ability to act, and where everything has a price money is the key to the kingdom. This is why the control over the money supply is so urgent, because it is the supply of money that will dictate who shall dominate the society. The way money is circulated decides whose projects shall go forward, and whose projects shall fail. The great majority of the world's natural resources are already "owned" by one interest or another, that when reduced to nuts and bolts amount to actual human families. They realize that in order to continue owning such wealth, they have to allow smallholders to acquire just enough to feel that they have an interest in the entire property owning convention as well.

The way peasants are converted into proprieters is by mortgage. Of course, people who have never been allowed to own anything, but who have been forced to work all their lives just to be allowed to use someone else's property, have no money or equity with which to buy property themselves. The seller has to see it as in his own interest to sell to the buyer, in order to accept a transaction in which the seller is not immediately compensated; this more compelling interest is the creation of a conspiracy with the buyer, to the general support of the private property convention. This one simple act ingratiates the former-peasant to the seller, who now owes to the seller gratitude for elevating his status from serf, to the owner of an estate in land; and this with land that came "cheaply," to the seller, because he "claimed" it from the elements.

Those whose ancestors claimed land from the elements, including human elements that were removed by dubious methods, are born to "money," because "money" is the power the republic gives them as a result of its legitimization of their ancestor's land-grabs. Banks are the primary system for allocating "money," which is not actual credit-based MONEY, but scrip used as a circulating medium primarily to pay the wages of the wage-laborers who replaced bona fide slaves. This is why average laborers borrow money on credit cards at 18% and 21%; and to buy a house with standard financing it is necessary to pay-out the original market price THREE TIMES before owning anything at all.

To make sure that no one steals any of this scrip, the Federal Government has created the biggest police state the world has ever seen. It controls more prisoners than any other institution on Earth. AND THEY ARE ALL AMERICAN.

The Federal Government is also the richest institution on Earth, far richer than most Americans are aware of. The United States Government has an outright treasure of priceless art and gold and silver that rivals the Vatican. It owns the best estates in every one of the fifty States, giving the State Governments free license to own those estates not already taken by the Federal Government. Some of the most expensive real estate in the world, from San Clemente, California to San Diego, is owned by the United States Government. In the four-corners region, the United States Government owns two-thirds of each state, leaving a mere third of the land to be owned by private interests. It is estimated that five to ten billion dollars worth of gold and silver will be mined off lands owned by the United States Government. This land is said to be public land, but when the Government leases it out, or grants franchises, people's taxes certainly don't go down to compensate them for the sale or use of their national property. The people, in fact, receive no benefit from this "ownership," and it speaks directly to the absurdity of little men like Perot, pandering to the crowd with declarations of "You own it, the politicians work for YOU..."

One of the largest oceans of oil discovered in the last half of this century was that which was discovered under Seward's Folly: Alaska. Alaska and Hawaii were two of the last outright colonial possessions of the United States, which it dealt with by turning them into full-fledged States in 1959; but not before securing the best lands in those states for the Federal Government. Alaska is almost nine-tenths owned by the United States Government, which is a veritable treasure trove of minerals, timber and real estate. Likewise the Black Hills are said to be full of gold; but like Hawaii, the Black Hills were taken in defiance of solemnized treaties, from a traditional culture that could not defend itself from an aggressive Federal policy of conquest and annexation. The process of creating formal states was designed to obscure the larger issues of social control. The state became a partner with the Federal Government in financing and organizing a powerful police force and prison system to protect the "private property" of those who would use the state apparatus to secure clear title, despite the fact that parties might have been wronged through the course of the development of this property (the enslavement of people, or the seizure of homelands of traditional native cultures).

The commercial prejudice of the republic predisposes it to reinforce the power of the corporations in their dominance of the lives of their employees, in the same way that it once supported the slavemasters in their ownership of slaves by maintaining a massive police infrastructure charged with doing little more than returning fugitive slaves. The entire scheme of the republic is a kind of cult to business, glorifying plantation owners and slavemasters as folk heros. The republic's enshrining of railroad attorneys, slavemasters and generals betrays its genuine menace as a slave society. Even though the slaves are now allowed to technically "own" themselves, (imagine the financial arrangements necessary to effect THAT buy-out), they remain indentured for life in a consumer society designed to promote and encourage their indebtedness. This is the very core of a slave society as it would contrast to a traditional society, which is not governed by the rules of Revolutionary Culture.

Traditional cultures are those which evolve from people living together, and they are indigenous. Every human being is indigenous somewhere, which is to say "native." This does not mean that there are not innumerable cases of people migrating and learning to become natives in their new homelands, but it does defer to the demographic fact that most people do not move too far away from the geographical place where they were born during the course of their lifetimes. Human beings do not exist in isolation, they live in societies, and the society is the natural womb that gives the individual people a sense of purpose in their lives. A society exists separately from the institutions of society, as the total body of a people in a particular geography, governed by the actual sentiments of the majority. This is in the will of the people as to the rules of behavior, and the kinds of punishments that must be exacted to enforce them; traditional cultures almost never inflict the death penalty.

The institutions of a society reflect the values of the people with regards to social control. Enslaved societies are generally kept ignorant because slaves who are exploited, who are intellectually stimulated into understanding that they are entitled to freedom by birth, have a tendency to "steal" themselves from their owners by fleeing. Frederick Douglass once said, "I stand before you a thief..." implying that by emancipating himself he had stolen property from his master. Traditional cultures do not spend all their resources defining crimes, and hoarding property. They address the identity of the people of the society in their ancestors and their history.

The crime wave relates to a conflict of cultures, the slave society and the human traditional society. The human traditional society is connected to thousands of years of customs and traditions that are defined by generations of taboo, outside of the realm of rationalization. The slave state lives or dies by its rationalizations; but the traditional culture survives by the familial bonds between the people, and the intergenerational bonds among them. The republic legitimizes the slave society: it embraces the ETHIC of the slavemaster, eternally vigilant to the inevitable ambition of the slaves to be free.

The only alternative to a republic is a monarchy, and in history republics have always enabled cartels of businessmen to establish dictatorships that can exploit the nation for business purposes. This happened in Athens, and in the Athenian Empire; it happened in the Roman Republic; it happened in the Swiss Republic; it happened in the Dutch Republic; and it has happened under the American republic. Traditional societies, on the other hand, do not view the body of the people as an exploitable resource, the labor force of the rich. The people are the heart and soul of the traditional nation, the nation being defined as the folk, made up of the living, the dead and the unborn. This is why religion has a place in the scheme of things, because it is the science of morals, and anyone who does not think that it is as precise as a science, need only look on the walls of a theological institute where canon law is studied.

The nature of the republic as a device for harnessing the population as a labor force predisposed it to a division of labor that spawned a religious authority able to placate the masses and reconcile them to the republic. Of course, for a religion that has historically upheld the principle that the only legitimate government under divine law was that of an Anointed King, to suddenly come to terms with a secular republic that promoted the most rapacious enslavement of human beings, illustrates that the religious community that was allowed to function was a puppet of the republic, gutted of its original religious principles.

Crime is the product of desperation; of being cornered and manipulated, and coerced. True Crime is a common law crime, and a true crime is a felony. The "crime" of the republic, however, relates to the artificial boundaries created by the conventions of ownership, to legitimize ancient violations of law. The criminals are the modern warriors, born to avenge their ancestors. Dark skinned and native, they hear the ancestral cry of fear and pain, as their wronged fathers speak to them from the grave. Left uneducated by a system that fears them, and is worried that they will find some way to exact revenge, they have the youthful energy to act, but not the intelligence to guide their energies into productive dissent. Thus they inhabit prisons in growing numbers, running them from inside, and organizing the outside on the lines of prison life. This is the street; the extension of the prisons. The violence of the prisons reaches us through the street culture.

What are people in prison for? Such lethal activities as selling marijuana; or getting caught using marijuana so many times, that the user is imprisoned as a habitual criminal. Driving without a license, and failure to appear. Speeding on a public road; or driving an unregistered vehicle. The County Jail of Los Angeles, California, has 250,000 inmates per year; in four years, that is 1,000,000 people, 1/30th of the entire population of the State of California, and its only ONE county! Not all the inmates are in jail for violent crimes, and not all the Three Strikes inmates committed a violent crime to get a life sentence, as the proponents of the Three Strikes "law" emphatically claimed when they railroaded it into passage through a public hysteria whipped up like a witch-hunt. There are dangerous criminals in jail and prison, but the the republic's micro-managing of the morality of individuals drains all of its resources into social control, wherein such privileges as filling out a census form, or serving on a jury, have to be forced under penalties of imprisonment.

The only way out of the crime wave is to uproot the entire Revolutionary Culture that turns the whole world on its head. Even gang members know the story of George Washington, who felt oppressed by the British, and led an effort that involved violence against the authorities. We forget that this is the legacy of a violent revolution: and violence breeds violence. The republic is steeped in a mythology that portrays republican values as progressive and modern, and monarchical government as backwards and tradition-bound, but the fact is that those traditions did create genuine checks and balances that had IMPACT. The formation of the republic enabled its founders to create a new executive that was not bound by the precedents that had been evolved over centuries, and that were known to be effective. The Presidency of the United States was designed to circumvent the ancient customs that defined the executive native to traditional law as monarchy. Monarchy is a system of government wherein someone is responsible for the actions of the government. A republic is a corporate form of government, in which no individual is responsible for the actions of the Republic-Corporation.

Monarchy is the European equivalent of tribal government, the monarch usually being called a king or queen, from Indo-European root-words that literally mean chief. Hereditary chieftaincies created primordial bonds between nations and royal families that were based on long loyalties, and ancient common bonds. The responsibility of the king descended from the responsibility of the father and the patriarch for his children, guided by his love for his dependent offspring, and his wisdom to endow them with the necessary independent intelligence, that when he is no longer there to love and care for them, that they will be prepared to take care of themselves. It is a markedly different attitude than that of the caretakers of the slave state, who fear and resent the vast enslaved majority, and who perceive signs of intelligence on the part of the slave caste as a cause of alarm.

Regardless of the political swamp that sucks this country into its whirlpool to certain death, the Crime Wave must be addressed. It threatens to sink America into a pool of blood. How many have to die before we acknowledge that it is the SYSTEM that is killing them. The gangs are a reaction to the solidarity of the state in its war on crime; they are the warriors of the OTHER-SIDE of the war on crime, the enemy. THE THEM.

They are also our sons and daughters, fighting for "honor." The District Attorneys and the social workers argue that honor is not worth anything; they infer that there is nothing worth dying for. This is where they do not understand the traditional culture, because in traditional society, the traditional way of life is not only worth dying for, if deprived of it, it can kill you. It is said that a man who lives without honor IS dead.
