A
PROCLAMATION
of His Royal Highness,
Marc Eric Ely-Chaitlin of the House of David
Regent of the United States of America
“BE IT PROCLAIMED,
“That for the purpose of establishing continuity from the late Government of the last legal
monarch of the United States, H.R.M., King George III of the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and the Colonies of America, the Royal Court of the Regent of the United States of
America shall formally observe the anniversary of the birthday of King George, June 4th,
1738 (New Style).
“This observance shall be a form of respect to the continuity of the law, from its origin in
the Mother Country, and the observance of the law in the United States in the restoration
of the Crown. It shall be solemn and serious, but shall not signify any form of attachment
to the British royal family on the part of the American people. The observance of the
birthdate anniversary of the last legal American king shall instead represent the genuine
independence of the American people, as an act of dignified observance by the restored
American royal family, of the legal significance of the reign of the last legitimate American
king prior to the Restoration of 1993, by the Cry of Stillwater Bay.”
ISSUED BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE REGENT OF THE UNITED STATES
12 February, 1998
